State and territory nomination allocations
The latest jurisdiction table published on the Home Affairs allocation page at our review date is for 2025–26: 12,850 subclass 190 allocations and 7,500 subclass 491 allocations.
Do not relabel this table as 2026–27. The national 2026–27 planning level is a different dataset. Quota AU will only show new jurisdiction allocations after the responsible government page publishes them.

How to read the table
These figures cap how many new primary applicants a jurisdiction may nominate under the listed stream in that program year. They are not application caps for all visa subclasses, not the number of places still available today and not a forecast of approval.

Questions about allocations
What is a state nomination allocation?
It is the number of new primary applicants a state or territory can nominate in a program year for the relevant nominated visa streams.
Is an allocation the same as a visa grant?
No. Home Affairs explicitly says allocations do not determine the number of visas granted in the program year.
Are the 2026–27 jurisdiction allocations published here?
No. At our 3 August 2026 review, the Home Affairs allocation page still displayed the 2025–26 table. This page will not infer unpublished jurisdiction figures from the national planning level.
